Um die Airfix P 51 B Mustang zu verbessern, war folgendes nötig:
Da es eine neuere Ausgabe von Airfix ist, nicht sehr viel. Ich ersetzte das Visier durch ein selbstgemachtes, machte Gurten, bohrte die MG auf. Aber da ich eine englische Mustang mit Malcolm-Haube wollte, zog ich mir selbst eine solche Kanzel. Und die kann man tatsächlich öffnen.
Die Tarnung war leicht, und für diese Mustang einer polnischen Staffel gibt es ein historisches Vorbild.

To optimize the Airfix P 51 B Mustang following works were necessary:
It's one of the newer distributions of Airifx, therefore not so much. Built out of the box, just replaced the gun-sight by a self-made, added belts, drilled up the guns. But I wanted to have a model of a British Mustang with the Malcolm-Hood, so I replaced it by a self-made vacu. And, indeed, the canopy can be slided back.
Coloring was easy, and there is a historical pattern of this Mustang in a Polish squadron.
