An den Hersteller dieses Vacu-Bausatzes kann ich mich nicht mehr erinnern. Jedenfalls war der seinerzeit (in den 1980ern) die einzige Möglichkeit, an eine He 178 in 1:72 zu kommen, daher griff ich zu. Die Cockpithaube ist dem Hersteller gut gelungen. Über die weitere Qualität des Bausatzes brauche ich anhand der vorliegenden Bilder wohl nichts mehr zu sagen. Es war allerdings auch erst der zweite Vacu-Bausatz meines Lebens, den ich verarbeitete. Das Fahrwerk ist, bis auf die Räder, kompletter Eigenbau, die Fahrwerksklappen ebenso. Abmessungen und Proportionen scheinen stimmiger zu sein, als jene des Condor-Bausatzes. Markierungen oder Kennungen gab es auch am Original keine, war die He 178 doch eine "private" Entwicklung Ernst Heinkels. He 178 Teil I

I'm not more capable to remind me of this Vacu-kit's manufacturer. Anyway, iat that time (in the 1980ies) this was tho one and only possibility to get at a He 178 in 1:72, so I jumped at the chance. The vacu-canopy is well done by the manufacturer. With reference to the pictures shown a little bit lower, there is no more necessity, to talk further about the quality, isn't it? In any case, this was my life's second vacu-kit I had to work with. Apart from the wheels, the whole landing gear is scratchbuilt, and so are the wheel-well-doors. Dimensions and proportions seem to be more coherent than the condor-kit's ones. There were no markings and numbers at the real aircraft, because the He 178 was Ernst Heinkel's "private" development.
