Um die Hasegawa Me 262 zu verbessern, war folgendes nötig: Fast nichts. Das Innenleben ist perfekt - ich machte nur Gurten und ein neues Visier - es muß eine Kopie der 1/32 Me 262 sein, die es vor vielen Jahren einmal von Hasegawa gab. Und die Tarnung ... ist handgemalt; der Bausatz ist so alt, damals hatte ich noch keinen Luftpinsel. Die Abziehbilder waren sehr dünn und sehr gut. Heut liegt ein neuer Bausatz in meiner Werkstatt, er wird die vier MK 108 bekommen, mit offenen Deckeln und mit Jumo 004 Triebwerk, ebenfalls offen. Aber das wird noch lange dauern. To optimize the Hasegawa Me 262 following works were necessary: Nearly nothing. The interior is perfect - just new belts had to be added and a self-made gun-sight - it must be a copy of the 1/32 Me 262 which was available by Hasegawa many years ago. And ... this is not airbrush-work, but a very old kit; then I still hand-brushed my models. The decals were very thin and fitted perfectly. Today there is a new kit in my workshop, and it will get the four MK108 cannons, gun bay opened, and the Jumo 004 jet-engine, engine-cowling also opened. But this will last long time.
