 Es waren so viele Teile, daß kein Wunsch offen blieb. Ich fügte Sitzgurten hinzu und bohrte die Kanonen auf. Die Kanzel ist dünn, klar und sitzt perfekt. Der ganze Bausatz ist perfekt. Das Instrumentenbrett ist ein Ätzteil, und zwei zusätzliche gibts für den Jumo 004. Ich habe noch einen Zurüstsatz Jumo 004 aus einer Kleinserie in 1/72 und der von Dragon ist doch wirklich der bessere. Da es schade wäre, diesen schönen Motor zu verstecken, beschloß ich, die Abdckung offen zu lassen. Sogar der Bau des Motors und die Farbgebung waren hierbei sehr unkompliziert. Beim Fahrwerk muß man aufpassen, es ist genauso heikel und kompliziert wie das Original. Und nicht auf das Gewicht in der Schnauze vergessen, sonst setzt sich der Kleine auf den Hintern. Das Schwierigste war die "Zielscheibe", die in der Vorderansicht zu sehen sein muß. Die restliche Farbgebung war nicht schwer. Und nun die schlechten Neuigkeiten - den Bausatz gibt es nicht mehr - jedenfalls nicht in Europa. ABER ... Revell hat die Formen von Dragon! Es ist also der gleich gute Bausatz. Es gibt zwar keine Ätzteile, diese Teile sind aus Plastik, aber so zart, daß man es selber nicht besser kann. Wer also diesen Bausatz will, und der Händler weiß nicht woher nehmen, versuche den Link zu Revell. |
 There were so many parts in this box, that no wish is unfulfilled. I just added seat-belts and drilled up the guns. The canopy is thin, clear, and fits perfect. The fitting of the whole kit is perfect. There is a photo-etched instrument-panel, and two additional photo-etched parts belonging to the Jumo 004 jet-engine. I ow another very fine short-run Jumo 004 jet-engine in 1/72 and the dragon-part even is the better one. It's a pity to hide this engine, so I decided to build it open. Even building the engine and giving the correct colors was simple. The main carriage has to be done very carefully, because it's as fragile as the original. And don't forget to add some wight in the nose of the small guy, otherwise it will sit down at the tail. The hardest work was to airbrush the nose - looking from the front there must be seen a target-butt. The rest of the coloring was easy. And now the bad news - this kit is not more available - in any case not in Europe. BUT ... Revell has got the moulds of Dragon! This kit is done as well as the one from Dragon. There are no photo-etched parts, but the same parts are moulded of plastic so fine, you cannot do better by yourself.
