An diesem Bausatz war nicht viel zu verbessern. Die üblichen Gurten und ein Revi, die Kühler bekamen eine Struktur, das wars auch schon. Der alte Heller Bausatz ist ja wirklich sehr gut, auch wenn Airfix draufsteht. Ich spielte ein wenig mit dem Skalpell an den Balkenkreuzen rum, siehe da, ganz leicht ließ sich so eine 109er der Kroatischen Jagdstaffel, 15./JG 52 darstellen. Das Wappen am Leitwerk ist aus der Grabbelkiste. Die Bemalung erfolgte, wie so oft, aus der Dose, ohne zu mischen. Die Spirale auf der Schnauze ist mittels selbstgemachter Schablone gespritzt. So kriegt man ganz ohne viel Aufwand ein schönes, authentisches Modell.

There was not much to optimise in this kit. I made the usual seat-belts and a gun-sight, the radiators got a structure and that was enough. This old Heller kit is truely very fine, although it is sold by Airfix. I was just playing with the sharp knife at the decals, and watch, quite easily you can present a One-O'-Nine of the Croatian Fighter Squadron, 15./JG 52. The emblem at the fin is out of the spare-box. Camouflage was easy done out of the can, without any mixing.The spiral on the spinner was done with the airbrush by using a self-made stencil. That's the way, how to get a fine, authentic model, without any waste.
